Monday, July 22, 2013 - Light yellow--we would have guessed a 5 year old Riesling. But the aroma reads mature Riesling. Lemon, petrol and stone leap out of the glass. Lean and long and tart. Its sister bottle was different, with a fascinating smoky aroma. Proof once agsin that this wine belongs in our Alsatian wine pantheon. What a treat to have two bottles of a perfect aged Riesling in one night .
