Friday, June 26, 2009 - Seemingly an odd superposition of Pinot and a more robust, darker varietal that goes beyond Pommard rusticity. Deep dark fruit front with earthy and mushroom notes, but angular and falls somewhat flat in the middle, giving way to a hard acidity and granular structure. Somewhat thin. Masculine styling. Decent.
