There was one suggestion for subtle corkiness but it didn't seem that way. Could still be tight as there was not a lot of mid-palate fruit and the finish was short and a bit tannic. It could also be that this just isn't that fantastic to begin with. I'll go with giving it the benefit of the doubt. It wasn't bad but it just didn't deliver and up against the 2001 Confuron Romanee St. Vivant it pretty much got schooled.
