Saturday, August 2, 2014 - Very decent rendition of Argentinian Malbec. We decanted and waited about an hour. The nose is a little shy, what we do get is buttered blueberry, and a slight touch of oak. The approach of the fruit on the palate is quick hitting and commendably intense fresh blueberry and blackberry. Stronger than typical mid palate. Nice, supporting, well behaved tannins that linger on the finish with some blueberry and black cherry fruit.
