Tasted double blind.

Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose starts of a bit stemmy like a New World Merlot followed by some violets like Cabernet Franc and then some bell pepper. Flavors of berries, cherries and raspberries. Medium to tart acidity, firm tannin, full bodied. Drink with air over the short term.

My guess was Cabernet Franc (2), Mendoza (1), Argentina (1), 2007 (1).
