Monday, March 22, 2021 - A Super Sunday (Atlanta): Best Champagne I've had in some time. Deep Gold color. Really pretty outside on a sunny afternoon. Complex palate that is Slightly oxidative, with brioche notes, touches of sweet fruit and vibrant energy. Wonderful palate texture. Sails on and on. Just Delicious in every way.

    3/23/2021 11:36:00 AM - thx!

You can calculate the base vintage by subtraction of the time (months) spent on lees. Egly usually blends and bottles the wine in spring summer the following year. So if your calculations get you to for example summer 2012 - the base vintage is 2011.
