Sunday, May 17, 2020 - Nice Bordeaux that is drinking at a mature state. Waiting any longer will not improve this wine. Every bit of the 2 hour decant helped it along. I had it alongside a 2009 Bordeaux Clerc Milon and by end of night was eclipsing that wine. Nice blackberry accents, velvet-like finish. The fruit was there but very subtle. Definitely past its apex and on the nice slope downward. So I would drink this wine sooner than later.
