Friday, January 17, 2014 - Deep dark color. FULL bodied. Intense nose with a hint of alcohol on the finish. Big berries, and black pepper. It does not take long to open up. Although I think an hour in the decanter and I might rate it a bit higher. Great with red meat obviously, but a nice hard cheese and chorizo carcuterie plate is good too.
