Saturday, March 18, 2017 - Intensely dark red. Strawberry jam, roasted red pepper, and cedar nose. Medium bodied, cranberries, dusty cherries, black pepper, strong but well integrated tannins, leather, smoke, a bit of heat, and a medium plus finish. It takes some time to open up, but patience is well rewarded.
