Friday, March 22, 2024 - Decanted about 8 hours. The color is still holding a dark ruby and now showing some light bricking on the edges. Youthful plums are starting to give way to blueberries, mixed with a lot of dusty tannins and plenty of acidity. The moderate complexity, with the just evolving fruit and structure, make this an especially easy to drink LBV. I Really enjoyed this bottle, even though it is not near peak yet. These Warre's LBV have the ability to age beyond most in their category. Enjoy now with a long decant, or better yet, wait another decade for this to start peaking.
