Tuesday, December 25, 2012 - Very classic Sonoma. Decanted for two hours. No signs of bricking at all. Approaching middle age but still strong, certainly not on the decline. Dark red cherry and blackberry with spice, iodine and just a touch of barnyard. The palate is intense, good middle. The finish is moderately long and still lots of ripe tannins hangs around but the fruit carries it well.
