Monday, January 1, 2018 - We were surprised at how fresh this was. Decanted and sampled in about an hour--still plenty of fruit as well as tannins. Both fruit and tannins held up over the next hour as we drank with meal. Lovely--last of a case I bought decades ago.

1/5/2018 4:37:00 PM - Thank you for the note. I had a very similar experience. I bought two bottles as part of a mixed auction lot at a bargain price and was just blown away by how enjoyable it was. I look at bottles like this and realize this is why we drink wine and chase wines like these,
