Friday, January 6, 2023 - Translucent darker ruby. Nose of wiry red berry, fulsome violets, saline, ferric notes, earth. Layers of red raspberry, strawberry hints, iron, and fine earth on the satiny palate. Well-managed, minimally intrusive oak notes. Filed off tannin and bright acidity. Longer finish of red fruit shot through with earth and iron filings. Lovely wine on this showing but has definitely upside.
