Thursday, November 26, 2020 - Medium ruby color. Aromas of smoked red berries - raspberry and cranberry, rose hips, allspice berry, clove, and cracked pepper. Open-knit red pomegranate and orange skin flavors on the palate, over a core of mineral earth, and dried floral & herbs. Airy and elegant middle texture, with slightly angular acidity, giving way to silky plush tannins. Finishing with moderate depth and length. To the lighter side of typical for this bottling, but well-enjoyed. Thanksgiving dinner wine so it went fast, could have used a bit more air. Recommend a few more years of holding.
