Thursday, September 29, 2016 - I feel awful. I just killed a baby. I'm a baby killer. I popped this ten years too early. Every component is bold in this bottle. Acid is high, Tannnins are grippy, Fruit content is medium-high, Alcohol is relavitely low for a California wine. The notes of cassis and dark fruits are just insane. This wine rivals any first growth in Bordeaux. I'm rating it 93 now but I am sure it will be a 96-98 ten years from now. Wow! So well done.
