Saturday, June 2, 2018 - Really peaking with ripe stone fruits with hints of tropical and citrus fruit. Evident oak, but not on the buttery hand cream spectrum. Adds a real nice spice and still has that speck of pine I love on this so much. There is actually tannic structure here, which makes it quite unique and adds to the sense of power, but the finish is so smooth, drawn out, and crystalline it's hard to put this in a box. California Chardonnay? Absolutely? Typical? Hardly.
