Saturday, May 26, 2007 - Lovely dark ruby, funky nose including dirt, forest floor, and truffle. Excellent balance between acids, tannins and fruit, very complex, long finish. Will improve for at least a few more years. We opened 2+ hours before the first full glass. It was much better as the evening went on. Decant or open early.
