Friday, February 7, 2014 - 89-90; potential 91-92. Rosenthal Imports. Organic. Still quite tight. Dark fruit, a bit of tart blueberries and def some blackberries. Nose of damp roses almost, enjoyable nose. Nice structure, high acidity, good tannins. Deep and dark. Excellent in the mid palate but finish weaker but perhaps because of young age. I'd lay down for another 2-3 years or decant for sure. Well made wine. Pair with heavy foods, sausage would be perfect!!!
