Sunday, January 8, 2023 - Blind sample from Asparagus. Good stuff. Guessed Puligny 1er 2015.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, yellow lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of citrus lemon, white and ripe yellow peach, chalk dust. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of salty wet stone minerality, integrated toast oak, citrus lemon drops, mix of white peach and nicely ripe yellow peach, chalk dust edges. Long harmoniously salty sweet finish.
Very good quality. Indeed Burgundian though there is some degree of ripeness.
