Thursday, May 16, 2013 - Tour - Burgundy 2013; 5/14/2013-5/20/2013 (Burgundy, France): Bouquet vanilla, berry. Taste berry, long finish. Texture smooth. Young, needs aging. Hostess recommended could be paired with white meat such as chicken and aging for at least 1 year. A local wine consultant we hired stated wines from this winery were overrated and over-priced compared to some other smaller wineries and wines in the area. Tasted in Burgundy at Clos Vougeot Chateau de la Tour in Vougeot in flight of 5 wines. $37 / bottle.
