Saturday, April 27, 2024 - Last-minute decision to open this with dessert. In the glass, deep copper/caramel in color. On the nose, a focused blast of mango, mandarin oranges, and passionfruit. On the palate, probably a touch past its prime, with an oxidative note rearing its head here and there around the botrytized tropical fruit and silky, unctuous texture. With that said, this is still a very pleasant Sauternes.
