Sunday, May 22, 2022 - Decanted for 2 hours. Served single blind in a tasting of 9 wines, my first place wine. Red/orange color. The nose is beautiful, showing faded cherry, brown sugar, sandalwood and spice. Lots of stems showing through after 32 years, this is very Dujac. Light weight palate, showing muted dried cherry fruit, that is intense without being heavy. The proverbial iron fist in a velvet glove, perfectly mature Burgundy for my palate.
