Sunday, October 18, 2009 - In the glass this was a ruby red with a light rim at the edge of the glass. Scents of raisins, prunes, and other dried fruits lingered in the nose. In the mouth this medium weight wine offers flavors of dried red fruits, tobacco, and cedar. This is not what I look for in a Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
