Friday, May 31, 2019 - Appearance - Ruby color, very slight orange ring at edge, clear edge, reflective, good body/legs - 3/3
Aroma/Bouquet - Black fruit, plum, slightly hot/alcohol, mineral/stone - 5/6
Taste - Blackberry, plum, vanilla, oaky, black currant, somewhat tannic, mineral/chalky - 5/6
Aftertaste - Black fruit continues, vanilla, tannins fade, still some heat/alcohol - 2.5/3
Overall - Good complex wine, fruit and oak, mineral - 2/2
