Thursday, December 9, 2021 - Interesting that Yogfog wrote in 2012 that this wine needed another 10 years. here we are and it is drinking very well but still youthful and could do with another ten years. Appealing nose and still slighrly fruit forward but very pleasant drinking with a forward nose.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are fast. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, red currant, black currant (cassis) and blueberry. It tastes like black pepper and light toast. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.
