Wednesday, July 18, 2007 - I thought this might be a bit tired seeing as it is a 2004, but this wine was incredible. It poured a beautiful brassy light gold. The nose was intensely mineral, but it also offered a great floral grassy component. On the palate the minerality almost tingled the tounge - everything was in balance.. the acidity was perfect, there was a nice honeyed fruit character supporting the minerals and the wine finished long, crisp and clean. A revelation with fish with italian olives and capers.
