Friday, May 20, 2022 - Slow-oxed for an hour, then decanted for an hour. Ruby red fading toward the edge. Lots of aromatics: meat/game, leather and cedar notes. Some vanilla, spice and dried cherries too. A nice acid kick upfront and then some drying tannins on the finish. Nose is more compelling than the taste, which seems close to fully resolved.
