This bottle was in great shape, with a fill at base neck. All the hallmarks of a really nice aged Bordeaux, with earth, leather and tobacco. Still a good amount of fruit present, too. With no previous experience with this wine or vintage I didn't decant, but I think it could have used 20 or 30 minutes, as the wine improved in glass over time.
