Saturday, August 2, 2014 - Of the four bottles of this I purchased at auction about four and a half years ago, this is the second best (the best being the first, opened spring of 2010). We enjoyed this for about 60-90 minutes after opening before it began a rapid downhill slope. This showed wonderful notes of cedar, tobacco, and leather on the nose and palate, as well as some balsamic and a little touch of metallic flavors. Still very balanced and enjoyable, with a lovely long finish. It will be enjoyable for a few more years, but it's already a little past peak so no need to wait.
