Friday, November 22, 2019 - Clear medium garnet - almost pale; clean medium plus nose of dark chocolate, dried plums, dried figs, raisins, leather, mushrooms and toast - pretty and port-like; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; high alcohol; medium body: pronounced flavour intensity; pfn with addition of bandaid; long finish; outstanding quality; beautiful wine but drink now - a certain sharpness is developing as the fruit falls away - may be out of balance in another year or two
