Saturday, August 19, 2023 - A celebration of 1983: From 3L. Beautiful nose with an herbal character, cassis, smoke, tobacco, and pure fruit flavors. There is nice depth and overall it felt quite young. Good acidity on the palate with underwood, some tertiary flavors, cherries, and a savory note. Long finish. This was drinking perfectly and felt fully mature, although not in risk of declining anytime soon. Wow!
