Monday, September 14, 2009 - Dark, deep velvety garnet colour. Complex nose; initially shows stony minerality, graphite and a hint of cooked meat. Over time revealed a lovely soft blackcurrant leaf aroma. Silky texture with great acidity; sweet grippy tannins. Intense, powerful flavours; mouthfilling blackcurrant with notes of coffee and tobacco. A beautifully balanced wine. Long, long, long.
