Wednesday, December 26, 2018 - Used my new Durand wine opener that was offered for Christmas and it was needed to delicately remove the cork that was fraying at the bottom.

Rich secondary flavors from the aroma to taste. Tobacco cigar cedar box and ash in the most lovely way possible to taste. Tertiary of leather. All these male attributes softened over time to a more velvety feel while being nothing like St Emilions. Difficult to describe well.
Most surprisingly, long finish and flavours that lasted throughout our Christmas meal. From beginning to end, an amazing wine.
