Wednesday, October 17, 2018 - Quite good QPR aged Bordeaux considered I bought it a year ago. Cork was soaked and some leakage, thought it was gone but still gave it a try.

Straight from bottle. Expected easy entry and soft tannin. Fruit is almost gone. Sweetness balance the acidity quite well and improvement shows after 30mins in bottle, picked up on body and aroma. Classic Bordeaux, alcohol level just right for me.

Balance: 7/10
Aroma: hints of cigar box, tobacco and plum but not very pronounced

Drink and should not hold any longer as the aromas are fading.

Overall a good experience, me, my wife and sister-in-law enjoyed it very much.
