Tuesday, February 13, 2024 - The Lonely Hearts Wine Club , Part Deux (Paris): A good year since we had this (Papies 93) and a wine we have been drinking for the last decade or so and happy to see it develop into a true beauty. We love thes oldschool classics from the 90s and especially in 1996 before Pontet Canet became the Pontet Canet on now ( in a good way). The randomness here worked and those who love this style of wines , earthy, leathery, soft and pure will love this too. Beautiful 93 and happily we own a few more. We think this is a wine to drink in the next 3-5 years before it takes the downhill.
