Sunday, March 1, 2009 - Drank along side the 2000 Ducru, it was close, but this was better. Nose of soft ripe fruit, with hints of gravel. Mouthfeel was ful bodied, and soft. This was amazing, almost new world in softness. Ripe berry fruit, gravel and earth, hints of tobacco, subtle new wood, and a long caressing finish.
