Sunday, June 21, 2015 - Very closed on the nose and even after 3hours of air, just barely getting glimpses of dense meaty dark fruit, subtle spice and iron notes. Also holding back on the palate with more dark fruit, spice, touch of red fruit and dried roses. Stacked and concentrated with excellent texture and balance, but just not a lot of excitement. Relatively short finish. I will need to revisit this one given other notes written.
