Saturday, May 23, 2020 - Dark crimson in color. 13.4% ABV. Savory nose of red fruits, leather and tobacco. Medium body with medium acidity. Clearly a Cabernet from a winery that specializes in Rhone varietals. Cherries, currants, olives and iron on the palate. Exceptional length on the finish with resolved tannins. The wine drinks really well but is far afield from WA Cabs from the likes of Quilceda Creek and Leonetti. Best over the next 2-4 years.
