Thursday, January 28, 2016 - Deep ruby, borderline purple in the glass. The nose is jam filled with hints of dark cherry, coffee and just a little wet stone and smoke. The palate hits with fresh, young fruit and those wonderful Margaux style crushed flowers. The wine is medium bodied and surprisingly well integrated. The finish is medium/long and migrates satisfyingly from front to back of palate. Very successful wine for the vintage.
