Saturday, November 17, 2018 - Opened and double decanted 3 hours prior to drinking then decanted again at the restaurant 1 hour prior.
It's hard to know what to say about this - it's absolutely classic Margaux: fruit, tannins and (once it's been open long enough) just a little acidity. I like it very much and at about US$50 I think it's OK value, but there's nothing much that stands out about it.
However, sometimes I just feel like a very good Margaux without wanting to be surprised, and for that this is perfect.
