Sunday, April 18, 2021 - Opened the 2012 D’Issan for a friends birthday. After an hour in the decanter, we had our first taste. The wine was dark ruby in color. The nose was beautiful! Dark cherries, coffee, tobacco and wet leaves. At first taste the flavors were muted but after about 2.5 hours the wine really came to life. Palate was dark cherries, dark chocolate and some leather. So glad I have 6 more bottles.
