Saturday, April 4, 2020 - Few years away from its peak; tannins are still relatively bitter and get in the way even after two hours of decanting. A restrained style of St. Emillion, something I appreciate, without excess ripeness. A very poor pairing right now for any meals that have material sweetness in them; begs for a big fat steak and neutral sides, if any. Revisit in 2022 or later.
