Tuesday, April 14, 2015 - Bought at a grocery discounter (probably because it was a 2012 vintage which is getting old for a budget sauv blanc.). Fairly dry and moderately acidic, both are expected in a sauvignon blanc; it was good that it wasn't as sweet as many other "budget" CA SBs. There was a strange "funky" nose and aftertaste -- almost green-peppery; that was not particularly pleasant to me. Also I suspect there is no such thing as "Willow Springs" as this is not a vineyard-designate, just "California."
