Tuesday, March 11, 2014 - A uniquely light, ethereal red fruited palate with gentle structure that finishes long and weightless. The nose reminds me of Beaujolais. Very unusual WV pinot, particularly for the vintage. I wonder if the whole cluster induced a bit of carbonic maceration, or if maybe the Coury clone is not what we think. I imagine this will improve with age, but it's lovely today.
