Friday, February 15, 2013 - Double decanted 3 hrs in advance, needed second decant to remove some residual fine sediment. Deep red color with little bricking, dark berry fruit, tobacco, cedar, anise nose, plenty of dense dark fruit on palate, tannins are smoothly integrated, everything in balance, long smooth finish. Seems like this wine has attained a much higher level compared with our previous bottle a year ago. A very enjoyable wine with an enjoyable dinner.
