Friday, October 10, 2014 - A Night Out with Ch.Cos d'Estournel (Metropolitan wine cellar, HK): A lovely matured Cos, and the nose is just impeccable. Pure and clean, fruit still remains, mainly red fruits. I thought it casts a similar profile as the 96, but the 96 sports more energy and holds your attention more deeply. Nevertheless, the 89 Cos is a beauty in itself and drinks wonderfully, old leather, cigar smoke and mushroom are very comforting. What a nice wrap up to an enjoyable dinner with delicious food and beautiful wines from Cos.
