Thursday, December 13, 2007 - A mature Cos that may be at its peak. Very enjoyable. Purple plum in color with no sign of age. Fine nose of black currant with earth and cocoa overtones. Very nice on the palate with a long finish. Spice, fruit, earth and cocoa all in balance and integrated yielding a smooth and interesting tasting experience. Cos continues to be one of my favorites, and this one did not disappoint. The standout in a flight of 3 which included a 1988 and 1985.
