Friday, November 25, 2016 - Continues to satisfy. Popped and poured tonight with Thanksgiving leftovers. At first incredibly rich nose of dark fruit, leather and tobacco, and rich silky palate redolent with dark red fruit. As it opened the palate got fruitier and the finish lengthened -- at first peppery but then long and sweet from there. Great balance overall, fine complement to roast pork, stuffing and gravy. An excellent '89.
