Sunday, October 20, 2002 - Sampled at the 2002 Wine Spectator Las Vegas Wine Experience in a seminar featuring '89 and '00 "Super Second" Growths. Jean-Guillaume Prats represented Cos on the dais and remarked that the grapes were picked a month later than the rest of the chateaus. Pipe tobacco nose, with some mushroom in the background. Rich rhubarb and black cherry flavors, with trademark oriental spices. Somewhat exotic-tasting. An interesting bottom-heavy mouth feel. Very different from the others.
