Saturday, June 14, 2014 - I was not impressed. The nose was light and fruity but no complexity. The first taste was not what I expected. The first thing I got was the sensation of sweet... Definitely not a dry red. There was some cherry and raspberry notes that saved it form being poured down the drain. The only thing that helped saved this was that I was having a few burgers and so I added lot of hot sauce, not mild... HOT. At least the wine didn't overpower the food. This reminded me of every red wine I've ever had form NJ.. Chambourcin...
